Description: The Jones Stephens J44400 Socket Saver is a durable steel plumbing tool designed to remove broken or damaged Schedule 40 plastic pipe from inside a fitting hub, eliminating the need for costly fitting replacement. Simply attach it to a 1/2" variable speed power drill and the Socket Saver cleanly cuts and removes the old pipe from within the hub, allowing a new pipe to be solvent-welded directly into the existing fitting. This tool is ideal for in-line repairs behind walls or below slabs where accessing and replacing the entire fitting would be difficult, time-consuming, and expensive. Works on both ABS and PVC DWV pipe. Available in sizes from 1/2" through 4" to cover common residential and commercial drain, waste, and vent pipe sizes. Individually carded for easy identification and retail display.
