Description: The Spyderco Jumpmaster 2 is a second-generation expression of the acclaimed Jumpmaster design, developed in close cooperation with the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division jumpmasters — specially trained airborne-qualified soldiers who control parachutists during airborne operations. The original Jumpmaster was purpose-designed to quickly and efficiently cut static lines in "hung jumper" situations, and featured a blunt-tipped sheepfoot blade with one of the most aggressive, long-wearing edges Spyderco ever produced. The Jumpmaster 2 faithfully retains all those high-performance characteristics but packs them into a leaf-shaped blade with an acute point profile for increased versatility in emergency situations. The hollow-ground blade is crafted from 100%-rustproof H-2 steel — exclusive to Spyderco — and features a fully serrated SpyderEdge that powers through webbing, rope, cordage, and other fibrous materials. Injection-molded FRN scales with Bi-Directional Texturing provide a secure grip and are attached to the blade's skeletonized full tang with corrosion-resistant hardware. Includes a custom-molded snap-fit Boltaron sheath with an angle-adjustable G-Clip attachment supporting a wide range of carry positions.
