The result is extreme edge retention and toughness that few other blade steels can match. The full-flat-ground blade with stonewash finish includes a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for swift, ambidextrous one-handed opening. Spyderco's patented high-strength Compression Lock secures the blade and allows safe one-handed closing. The lightweight, open-backed handle is built on stout stainless steel liners nested within textured dark gray G-10 scales — the signature handle color denoting Maxamet steel.
